When I first started work at BBC, I learnt about Radio Geronimo, and out of curiosity went along to their offices in Harley Street . I was so unhip at the time, 16 years of age and wore a suit for the first 6 weeks. I did however enjoy the music they played, and was a radio anorak.
I met Hugh Nolan and the team, and after it had closed was rung by Ronan O’Rahilly who wanted to get in touch with the presenters for his radio station. Later they turned up on Radio Seagull!
This video of a film made by Riviera TV tells the story! Enjoy!
