A pirate at the Henley Traditional Boat Festival

Today in Henley on Thames, in Fawley Meadows, just off the Marlow Road, a festival of old boats was assembled. The Royal rowing barge Gloriana was there for all to see. So was Sir Donald Campbell’s Bluebird boat that he broke the world speed record in.

One of the people in the sail by events bore the skull and cross bones!



Here is the sad video of Donald Campbell making a record and then sadly dying as result of a crash after the record was made.

Here is the man flying a pirate flag!
