Goodbye Fudge

Another rabbit success story.  Our latest foster rabbit named Fudge from the RSPCA has not been with us for very long.  She is an Old English rabbit who is extremely tame and friendly.  Sadly she lost her male companion when he passed away, before he came to us.

Fudge was very affectionate, and unusually she did not groom my arm or hand, but my jumper or coat, of an evening when she she was put back in the hutch

Here is a video to show how cute this rabbit was.  She was the longest bodied rabbit I have looked after over the period of 5 years my wife and I have been fostering them.  She ate mainly grass and fresh vegetables.  I did manage to get her to eat some of the dried food which is packed with vitamins, but only supplying a small amount in her bowl.  If the food bowl was full she did not touch the food at all.  Animals have their preferences, just like us humans.
